This Privacy Policy describes how Sage Grazer (“I,” “me,” or “my”) collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with my coaching services, coaching-related webpages, email communications, and related online offerings.

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected in connection with my coaching services and coaching-related content. It does not govern psychotherapy services or information collected in connection with psychotherapy services, which are separate from my coaching services.

Information I Collect

I may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to me, as well as certain information that is collected automatically when you use the website.

Information You Provide Through Contact and Inquiry Forms

If you contact me through a coaching-related website form, I may collect:

Your first and last name;
Email address;
Phone number, if provided;
How you heard about me;
Information you choose to include in your message; and
Other information you voluntarily provide in connection with your inquiry.

I use this information to respond to your inquiry, communicate with you about coaching services, and determine whether my coaching services may be appropriate for your needs.

Submitting a contact or inquiry form does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Please do not submit sensitive, confidential, medical, or other highly personal information through a general website contact form.

Email List and Free Resources

If you separately sign up for my email list or request a free resource that includes enrollment in my email communications, I may collect your first name and email address.

When you sign up, the signup form will indicate that you are joining my email list in addition to receiving the requested resource.

I may use this information to:

Deliver the resource you requested;
Send coaching-related educational content and resources;
Send newsletters and updates;
Tell you about coaching services, programs, products, or other offerings; and
Manage and improve my email communications.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those emails.

Scheduling Information

If you schedule a coaching consultation, I may collect information associated with your appointment, such as your name, email address, scheduling preferences, and information you voluntarily provide during the scheduling process.

I currently use Cal.com to facilitate scheduling. Information submitted through Cal.com may also be processed by Cal.com in accordance with its own privacy practices.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the website, certain information may be collected automatically by Squarespace and its technologies. This may include information such as:

IP address;
Browser and device information;
Operating system;
Referring website or source;
Pages viewed;
Dates and times of visits;
Website interactions; and
Other information about how visitors use the website.

This information may be used to operate the website, understand website traffic and usage, maintain website security, and improve the website and my services.

Cookies and Website Analytics

My website is hosted by Squarespace and uses Squarespace's built-in website functionality and analytics.

Squarespace may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website and collect information about how visitors interact with it. Some cookies are necessary for the website to function, while other cookies may be used for analytics and performance purposes.

Depending on the website settings and your location, you may be provided with options to manage certain cookies.

I do not currently intentionally use third-party advertising pixels or behavioral advertising technologies, such as the Meta Pixel, in connection with my coaching webpages. If my use of analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies changes, this Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.

Email Marketing

I may use Kit or another email marketing service provider to manage my email list, deliver free resources, and send email communications.

If you voluntarily subscribe to my email list, your name, email address, subscription information, and information relating to your interactions with emails may be processed by the email marketing provider in order to provide these services.

Joining my email list is separate from contacting me about coaching services. Sending me an inquiry, scheduling a consultation, or becoming a coaching client does not automatically enroll you in marketing emails.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in the emails.

I may retain limited information necessary to record your unsubscribe request and ensure that you do not receive marketing communications after opting out.

How I Use Personal Information

I may use personal information collected in connection with my coaching services to:

Respond to questions and inquiries;
Communicate with prospective and current coaching clients;
Schedule coaching consultations;
Provide requested resources;
Manage my email list and send communications to subscribers;

I do not use information submitted through a general coaching inquiry form to enroll you in marketing communications without a separate subscription or other indication that you wish to receive those communications.

Other technology and business services reasonably necessary to operate my coaching business.

These providers may process information as necessary to perform services on my behalf and may maintain their own privacy policies and practices.

I may also disclose personal information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, protect my rights or property, investigate fraud or security concerns, or protect the rights, safety, or property of others.

Third-Party Websites and Services

My website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including scheduling platforms, social media platforms, and other external resources.

When you visit or interact with a third-party website or service, that third party's privacy policy and practices apply. I am not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of third-party websites or services.

Social Media

My website may contain links to or integrations with social media platforms such as Instagram.

If you interact with me or my content through a social media platform, information may be collected and processed by that platform according to its own privacy policies and settings.

Simply following a link to or from a social media platform does not enroll you in my email marketing list.

Data Retention

I retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, operate my business, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

If you unsubscribe from marketing emails, I may retain limited information necessary to document your unsubscribe request and prevent future marketing communications.

You may also contact me regarding questions about your personal information or to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information I maintain about you, where applicable.

Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid privacy preference signal, I intend to comply with applicable requirements.

Children's Privacy

My coaching services and coaching-related content are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older.

I do not knowingly collect personal information from children through my coaching services or coaching email list. If I learn that personal information from a child has been collected in connection with these services, I will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Coaching and Psychotherapy Are Separate Services

My coaching services are separate and distinct from psychotherapy services.

This Privacy Policy applies to my coaching-related webpages, coaching inquiries, coaching email list, and coaching services. It is not intended to describe privacy practices applicable to psychotherapy services or protected health information collected in connection with psychotherapy.

Submitting information through a coaching inquiry form or subscribing to coaching-related email communications does not establish a therapist-client relationship.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in my services, business practices, technologies, or applicable legal requirements.

When I make changes, I will post the updated Privacy Policy and revise the effective date at the top of the policy.

I encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
